The spread here is giving main character energy: salmon that doesn't taste like it flew coach, tortellini that would make an Italian grandmother weep tears of joy, and chicken that actually remembers what moisture is. Yes, they're serving airport sushi, and no, it won't make you regret your life choices. The space looks like a Marriott and a WeWork had a baby, blessed with enough power outlets to power a small city and mood lighting that makes everyone look like they're in their LinkedIn profile pic. Those floor-to-ceiling windows aren't just for plane spotting, they're for making your Instagram followers question their Priority Pass membership. The bar's got more glass than my ex's emotional walls, and the fireplace lounge is serving 'I'm totally not stressed about my connection' VIP realness. Bonus: Dyson hairdryers in the showers, because nothing says 'I've made it' quite like drying your hair with a month's worth of car payments. Fair warning: The shower reservation system runs on vibes and prayers, and the QR code menu system has turned ordering a burger into a tech support challenge. TLDR: It's an airport lounge that actually understood the assignment. Just don't expect the service to move at supersonic speeds, this isn't the Concorde era anymore. 🍸✈️
Denies access if you’re going to Mexico for no clear reason
Pretty average - to below average for a one world emerald lounge. I would rate it a 4/10 . Based mostly on poor food selections. Bar staff a bit u helpful. Toilets were clean though
Ordered a crispy pork belly with some fries. Pork Belly came out in 20-25 min (not a dealbreaker because the lunch menu had just started). Fries still did not come out after 45+ minutes. Spoke to the management there and they apologized and said they would rectify it, but this is definitely unexpected from a "first class lounge" experience.
Drinks are plentiful, but food is somewhat limited in the morning. It's a bit boring, but the lineup will increase after noon. This chocolate dessert is super delicious. Furthermore, the chocolate cake you order is the best. Rich with raw chocolate. The hamburgers are delicious too! Pork is best eaten hot and crispy! Cocktails are usually quite strong, so it might be a good idea to prepare water. . The water pressure in the shower is quite low, but it does come out hot.
This is the lounge for BA gold card holders who are not flying first class. That means that even if you were in economy like me, you could use it. Visually it's great. The food and drink selection is pretty decent. Like most other lounges though it can get very crowded if several flights are leaving at once, which is the case on NY afternoon and evenings with a number of London departures.
Should be good but isn’t. It feels very crowded and old. Food is fine but overall odd.
This is a very nice lounge. The table service is reasonably fast and the made to order food is good. The buffet food is good as well. I like how the bring drinks to the table. Not super busy and not huge. This is one of the better ones!
Wow! Def a huge upgrade on this lounge! It's super clean. Organized. Not overly crowded, and it's a holiday weekend. The food was good. The warm food could be better but not bad. At all. The desserts were excellent! DO NOT SKIP THE BROWNIES...! Def well worth the wait.
If you are expecting a "premium" lounge offering, you may be disappointed. It's basically a nice, quiet, comfortable seating area with limited food options. Pros: - Lots of space relative to number of folks - Seating area was nice/comfortable with lots of windows - Check-in staff was friendly Cons: - Limited food offering at dinner (8pm) and exactly the same as the standard Greenwich lounge. I moved to the Greenwich lounge hoping to see a few more options -- and they had the same spread as the Soho lounge (just more of it) - No dietary markings for any of the food items if you have allergies, and the staff was unaware of ingredients - The coffee machine is still broken! I saw a review from 7 months ago mentioning it was out of order
Currently on a stop over at JFK T8 and very much enjoying my time in the BA/AA Soho Lounge. The lounge is vast, bright and feels very cosy. It’s super quiet at the moment which is nice but I suspect it gets quite busy at peak times. The food selection is rather good and so are the drinks. There are showers, a relaxing room with lounge chairs for a more comfortable sleep, phone booths and a bar. There’s also a fireplace! Nice touch.
This is a large but busy lounge. There’s a few different areas though whether you wanting to relax or dine, and the section with fireplace is a great touch. I didn’t think the selection of food available at the buffet is overly great, but there are hot options available to order via the QR codes which are more impressive. It’s a staffed bar with a wide range of drinks and cocktails and the staff are all friendly. Reserving a shower was a little bizarre, which you do at the desk near the entrance but with seemingly no time slot, so you still have to queue, but they’re large and spacious with nice touches like Dyson hairdryers. It’s a dimly lit space and relaxing so ideal ahead of a long flight especially if you’re looking for some sophistication.
Quiet, large, and comfy lounge with excellent food and beautiful views of the tarmac. If you are either an elite status member or flying in Flagship First/Business or with a OneWorld alliance airline, you can get access to this lounge. The food is incredible: excellent chicken, some of the juiciest salmon, the best tortellini with charred green onions that I may have ever had, and so much more. Desserts that are incredible all line one area as well. Seating is plentiful with charging outlets at every point. There are excellent showers as well to use as long as you register at the front.
