It is a disgrace to call this a premium lounge. No food at all (at 10:30). Toilets need maintenance. This situation is not new. It's like this for years. Star Alliance should look into that ASAP.

Post security Schengen area in lounge 1. Nice staff and very quiet on a Sunday morning. Mostly empty. Food is a bit below average for a lounge. No showers. I'd recommend eating in the non Schengen area of the airport as the options are sparse and poorly rated in this part.

It’s ok but there are mice running around. The staff said they come from outside and it didn’t seem like they care much. Maybe should put out some traps or something then.

Worst food ever in an airline club. They were only letting in business class travelers. It was very crowded. Few seats.

Professional staff and very courteous. The staff are amazing, albeit short staffed a bit. Clean lounge. Fast WiFi. Tons of outlets. Feels brand new and classy. Very limited food options, so set that expectation and you’ll enjoy it.

If you have the money for a premier seat on a flight, you have every right to indulge! Great staff, great food/drinks.

If the nice running around in this lounge is something you can live with, you can enjoy some of the worst lounge food around. Restroom fixtures have been broken for months without being fixed so capacity is reduced. Staff start clearing out anything etable way before the lounge closes so dont expect to much if you arrive within an hour of closure (which is at 21:00). Drink selection is basic but works. All in all, well below what you'd expect from the only Star Alliance lounge in the airport.

HiComplaint Regarding Treatment by Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and distress regarding the treatment I received during my recent experience with Turkish Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance. Despite purchasing a business ticket within the Star Alliance network, I was unable to utilize the business lounge facilities. To make matters worse, while attempting to resolve the issue alone, I was confronted by law enforcement, resulting in both physical and mental distress. I was forced to seek alternative lounge accommodations at my own expense, only to be ejected after a mere three hours of use. This entire ordeal has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I demand both restitution and a formal apology for the damages incurred. It is unacceptable that my concerns have been repeatedly disregarded, leading me to question whether my treatment is influenced by my nationality. Why is it that the recourse offered to me is mere feedback, rather than tangible assistance for the damages suffered? This situation reeks of corporate negligence and evasion of responsibility on the part of Turkish Airlines and the Star Alliance. Why should I, as the victim, be left to bear the burden and resolve the consequences of their mismanagement and oversight? It appears that these aviation giants persist in their disregard for individual grievances. Are victims of their misconduct expected to resort to civil litigation merely to seek justice? Is this dismissive behavior not a form of coercion in itself? I urge you to take immediate and meaningful action to address this matter and rectify the injustices inflicted upon me. Failure to do so will only confirm my suspicions of systemic indifference and exploitation by these corporate entities. Yours sincerely, Did the staff ever bother to check my ticket even once, despite showing all of them? Is this my fault? Is there a more reliable way to prove it than showing the tickets? I flew with Singapore Airlines and showed a Star Alliance ticket with TK731, what did I do wrong? I entered a lounge that allows both Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines with a business ticket, where's my mistake? Are you saying that I didn't mention Turkish Airlines now? Do you just believe what the lounge staff said? The ticket itself says TK731, isn't that a guarantee? Am I lying about being able to use Turkish Airlines? I said I was flying to Istanbul via Singapore and taking Turkish Airlines, so who's mistaken? Isn't the lounge available for both Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines? Is this my fault? Who manages the staff training? We trusted Star Alliance and Turkish Airlines to purchase business tickets for miles. However, I couldn't use the lounge. In the process, there was mental, physical, and material damage. However, large airline associations and state-owned airlines are inflicting constant damage on a single consumer. How can this be? What was wrong with me to choose these airlines for our 10th anniversary? The lounge that is contracted and managed by the airline has done something wrong and there is an obvious victim, but no one is compensating. How can such an inhumane thing happen in the airline service industry? I am a witness who suffered damage to the system between transit flights and share and transit airports, and no one is apologizing and compensating. When multiple airlines maintain alliances due to needs, such as transit, share, and airports, does it make sense to attract customers and then tell them not to know anymore? Actually we cannot know and don't need to know what terms of contract and communication Star Alliance, Turkish Airlines, and Colombo Airport are maintained between companies in details. Why should we suffer such damage when I just issued business tickets and paid for transit to the airport on a fixed schedule? Am I wrong to trust an airline, pay my mileage, and plan for its 10th anniversary? Is it corporate ethics to continue to inflict victims without compensating anyone for these damage

Poor hygiene (we even saw a mouse running around), the food was bad quality and few choices, it wasn’t pleasant to spend time here. I won’t be back. A pity since my experience with a few other Star Alliance lounges in other airports is positive so I wouldn’t have expected this.

There were flies in the food and a mouse was running under our table. The staff was aware but did nor care at all. AC too strong and bad selection of food and drinks.

As a frequent flyer, this lounge is a disaster. There is the same food EVERY DAY. Every single day!!! It's cruel and doesn't taste good. The lounge is moderately clean. It's a shame, the look is nice, but the food is really poor.

I spent half a day at the lounge as my flight was cancelled. Staff at the lounge are absolutely amazing, super nice and kind. Toilets super clean. I loved the desks dedicated to those who would need a quiet space to work. I think tge only thing that could be improved is the food, not super tasty and not a great variety.

A decent lounge, but quite a walk from the SAS gates. It’s located on the third floor, so we had to ask around to find it. The breakfast was quite standard and tasted fine.

AMS Int'l Airport Lounge Contest Part two: the Star Alliance Gold Lounge Although Aspire Lounge and Star Alliance Gold Lounge are practically sharing a kitchen and are neighbours (next to each other literally) they couldn't be more different. The food is great (see pictures) with many different warm and cold dishes to choose from, the atmosphere and mood are set-back, relaxed and comfy - and so is the furniture. A great place to spend your time waiting for your flight to be ready for you. Added to that the people of this lounge are very friendly, indeed!

A very basic lounge..there are no sleeping pods or showers or barista or bar. You make your own drinks and eat the basic food. Also most of the food is not.labelled so you keep guessing what exactly it is. However, the staff is quite friendly and the place is very well cleaned and nice. I miss the sleeping pods and showers. That is what travellers need mostly lounges for.
