The Star Alliance lounge located in front of the departure gate at Charles de Gaulle Airport is not very large, and although it does offer food and drinks, it doesn't have a huge selection. In that sense, it's hard to say it's a particularly good lounge, but it has all the standard features and is a good space to relax and spend time before departure.
One of the best, cleanest, well-staffed Star Alliance lounges we have visited. Terrific foods and drinks including plenty of proteins, lots of seating with USB chargers, many large bathroom stalls and an outdoor seating area. Very quiet and peaceful to keep calm in the crazy CDG atmosphere.
Impossible to access the lounge if flying from terminal 2, even with star alliance. It’s a pity since several star alliance companies fly from terminal 2, leaving this lounge inaccessible.
Lounge available for passengers on Air China flights (member of the Star Alliance network). I'll share some photos with you. I had a very pleasant time, calm and far from the usual stress of the airport. The food is completely free, and there is an outdoor area. The view of the flights through the large bay windows is very pleasant.
Minute drop-off too short and expensive after 10 minutes
Nicely appointed lounge. Large and spacious, with many different seating areas. One entire side is a window with views over the eastern part of CDG. The breakfast buffet was ok. Standard fare of eggs, cold cuts, bread, pastries and some warm dishes (noodles, eggs, etc) in chaffing dishes. They have a wine cave area, with a few open bottles. Beer is also available by the bottle and there is a small selection of hard liquor. WiFi is available and they offer quiet rooms and desks for work. The outdoor area, is nice. Overall it’s an enjoyable place to spend time before your flights.
I would not recommend the Star Alliance lounge in the international area at CDG terminal one. It’s before security and a good walk from the gates themselves. We used dragon pass to enter it. The food was limited at best whilst there was sparkling wine - it wasn’t champagne . We were told allow 40 minutes to get to the gate. This meant we had limited time in the lounge and I wasn’t told this until after I had paid for access.
Renovated & spacious lounge with all the bells & whistles to make your transit comfortable. There are many distinct seating areas, and a smaller lounge chairs area. There is dedicated work cubical & sound proof pods for privacy. Decent selection of food & drinks throughout the day.
Loved this lounge! Getting here was a bit confusing but once we found it, it was great. Came here Thursday afternoon—plenty of seating and a good variety of food options. The food was surprisingly really good! They don’t have an actual bar, but they had liquor bottles that you can pour yourself drinks—also has a selection of juices/sodas too, but unfortunately no sparkling water. Apparently there’s an upstairs area too, but didn’t get a chance to venture up. And there’s an outdoor patio if you need to smoke!
A nice and spacious lounge (and a nice First Class lounge area). Star Alliance Lounge is on the 10th floor to the left as you're walking from the tram. Food and drinks here are good (obviously way better than the Yotel alternatives in the other Terminal areas). Showers, lots of seating, free wifi, outdoor area (for smoking). Signage to find Terminal 1 is horrible. Took almost an hour to take the tram and walk from Terminal 2. We did not have to go through the passport stamp area as the Priority Pass website description said but we did have to go through security after arriving at CDG.
