This lounge was a bit lackluster and disorganized. The tea station didn’t have real sugar, requiring you to go across the space to the coffee station for sugar. Creamer was inconsistent too. No labels on food and not food allergy friendly at all. All other Centurion lounges I have been in had creative food fare, this was standard eggs, sausage and smoked salmon with bagels and breads (not very celiac friendly) for breakfast. Waitstaff didn’t seem to care when I asked where items were. It’s nice to have this lounge in PHX however, I don’t think it meets the Amex and Centurion lounge brand quality and consistency.
Thanks for the brief respite but the breakfast service wasn’t up to par, the dairy items clearly marked for keep refrigerated were on a hot surface plate. Only one kind of bagel was available. Overall the lounge could be cleaner. The staff seems friendlier than other lounges with the same card brand
Being a regular traveler and been to multiple lounges always impressed with the professionalism and cleanliness of this lounge. My last recent stay even though limited due to fire system disabling the kitchen and only cold items available. I was kindly greeted and put at ease by Ms. DAJAVVON P. She was informing guest of the inconvenience but yet doing everything she can to make everyone’s visit to the lounge the best possible all while doing it with a smile. Hope all centurion lounges can take a note from her professionalism. Again Thank you!
Requires weird circus tricks to get a drink. Furniture so stained you need a shower after you visit. Save your annual fee and just buy your own drink! God damn, Amex buy a Bissell and clean this mess.
This is a nice place for a break while waiting for your flight. Only gripe…. Imitation eggs at a flagship lounge?
Just ok. Beats the terminal but I have used this lounge 4-5x now and it’s always PACKED! If you’re by yourself you can probably find a seat but if you’re with a couple guests good luck. Food is so-so, staff was friendly but some of the rules make no sense. You can’t bring outside food which doesn’t make sense if the food is free anyways. This is only a complaint because of dietary restrictions, not sure why you can’t bring in an option that fits your needs. There is a small roped off section for centurion (black) card holders if you have the $$$$$ to have that card!
Disappointing Experience at the Centurion Lounge at PHX Both coffee machines were out of order. The food was below par. The selection was limited, and the quality of the offerings was substandard. From the dry and stale pastries to the lackluster hot dishes, nothing lived up to the standard I associate with an Amex Centurion Lounge. The restrooms were not well-maintained. Overall, the visit was a letdown. I hope American Express addresses these issues promptly to restore the reputation of the Centurion Lounges and ensure a truly premium experience for all members in the future.
States they close at 9p but at 8:20p doors were shut. Do better Amex
Here at 8pm looking for airport refuge. Supposed to close at 9pm. Signage on the door to the lounge also says they close at 9pm. Walked across the whole dang airport to this lounge just to find it closed.
Terrence the bartender is amazing! Saved my life (literally).
This location would be the reason to cancel my high end amex card. Dirty, broken machines, no utensils and much more. Time for amex to come up with a better more exclusive offering. In the centurion only area had trash on tables.
The lounge was a long but relaxing walk from D gates. There was no TP in men’s room, but fortunately Phillip at front desk quickly addressed the issue himself. It was 10:30 and breakfast options were pretty limited compared to Seattle lounge. Was not crowded and staff was very friendly and helpful. No to-go cups for coffee due to alcohol being served, so bring your own cup if you want to take with. Overall the lack of interesting food choices brought the rating down; let’s get a little creative with the menu and label ALL food choices clearly. It was nice, but not as nice as a Centurion should be.
Not too bad, but not as good as some others, or even when I visited here last.. Counters against windows were filthy.. I had to clean them before I sat down. The whole counter was like that. You could tell they weren't wiped down in a while and they were sticky and had debris. Staff was friendly, even though the guy checking us in ripped my boarding pass and told me to look for some tape. No biggy, just annoying. Not sure what happened since last time.. Centurion lounges are usually outstanding.
Terrible experience with Philip, the self claimed Senior Lounge Manager. He was apologetic, however still not understanding in our religious belief! We tried to make him understand that once the sun rises we need to shower , then pray. If we do not shower, we cannot pray, and if we do not pray and cannot even drink a drop of water. I even told him I would sign a liability waiver stating I wouldn’t sue The Centurion Lounge so they don’t have to clean the shower in between all my family members. Policy dictates that they need to clean the shower between showers. Which is fine. However to go in the shower and explain where the towel, how to turn the shower on, where the shampoo soap and conditioner are to every single person of the family is insane; especially if the shower is only taking three minutes per member, shouldn’t take 10 minutes to clean in between!
Very nice place and very friendly stuff
While the Centurion Lounge at Phoenix Airport offers a stylish atmosphere and a solid range of amenities, my recent visit had disappointing service at the bar. The bartenders, who should enhance the experience, instead brought it down with their unfriendly attitudes. Despite the lounge’s reputation for quality and comfort, the bartenders seemed uninterested in providing the level of service one would expect. Their curt and indifferent manner left a lot to be desired, making what should have been a relaxing experience feel quite the opposite. For a lounge that positions itself as a premium destination for travelers, this kind of service is simply unacceptable. I hope the staff can be retrained to better meet the expectations of Centurion Lounge guests, as the current standard does not align with the brand’s otherwise excellent reputation.
Interesting arrangement in this lounge with the Centurion on one side and the Escape Room in the other. This lounge was nice with different sections. We found space relatively quickly. The service was really good. Food was underwhelming but cocktails were good. The views are entertaining looking over to the runway and different gates. There are some areas that can be reserved but unclear how. The lounge was certainly a better spot than just rambling around the airport. Definitely will visit.
Nice Anerican Epress Lounge at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Good selection of food and drinks 🍸, including a full bar. The Lounge has a bathroom and lots of seating with great visibility of the tarmac. Austin at check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Bartender and Lounge staff helpful.
This Amex lounge has courteous staff, the check-in process is smooth without any frustratingly long lines. Their barteners are generous with their drink options, quality and quantity. Great views of airplanes and mountain ranges with a relaxing overall experience. They manage unnecessary overcrowding effectively, ensuring a true lounge atmosphere. PS although this lounge is located in the B gates section, this lounge can be accessed from all gates no matter where your flight is from on Terminal 4.😊. Consider leaving about 10-15 mins walk time if you have flights from other gates depending on your speed. Cheers!!
