Earn and spend Flying Blue miles with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) thanks to new partnership
Good news for travelers: you can now earn and spend your Flying Blue miles with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). With SAS joining SkyTeam and a new codeshare agreement with Air France-KLM, you have even more options for your next trip.
Earlier this month, SAS announced in a press release that it has officially joined the SkyTeam alliance. The airline, which was previously a member of Star Alliance, is now forming a new partnership with major carriers such as KLM, Air France, and Delta.
In addition to joining SkyTeam, SAS has announced a codeshare agreement with Air France-KLM, effective from September 1, 2024. This agreement will give passengers access to 33 additional destinations in Northern Europe and Europe via the hubs of Scandinavian Airlines, Air France, and KLM. Members of Flying Blue and EuroBonus (SAS's loyalty program) will also be able to earn and spend Flying Blue Miles and EuroBonus points on all flights within this expanded network from this date.
