Kotoka International Airport (KIA) is the largest international airport in Ghana, located in Accra. It has two passenger terminals - T1 for domestic and regional flights, and T2 for international travel. The airport serves over 2.6 million passengers a year making it one of the busiest in West Africa. Emirates, Delta Air Lines and KLM are among the major airlines flying from KIA. The airport is named after Lieutenant General Emmanuel Kwasi Kotoka, a member of the National Liberation Council. KIA is celebrated for its modern amenities and efficiency.
