Port Bouet (ABJ)

Port Bouet Airport, also known as Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (IATA: ABJ), is the main international gateway to the city of Abidjan, the largest city and economic hub of Ivory Coast. Located in the district of Port-Bouët, the airport is the busiest in the country, serving millions of passengers annually. The airport is named after the first President of Ivory Coast, Félix Houphouët-Boigny.

Port Bouet Airport is a hub for the national airline, Air Côte d'Ivoire, and also accommodates several major international airlines including Air France, Brussels Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Its passenger terminal offers a range of facilities including duty-free shops, restaurants and car rental services. The airport is well connected to the city center and other parts of Abidjan via road and also features ample parking facilities.

The airport is notable for its extensive air freight facilities, reflecting the importance of Ivory Coast as a regional hub for the export of goods, particularly agricultural products such as cocoa, coffee, and tropical fruits.
