Tbilisi International Airport, also known as Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, is the main international airport in Georgia, situated 17 kilometers southeast from the capital city, Tbilisi. It serves as the primary gateway to the country with flights originating from several countries around the world. In 2019, over four million passengers passed through its terminals, establishing it as the busiest airport in Georgia.

This airport is named after the renowned Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli and managed by the Turkish TAV Airports Holding. It has a single, modern terminal outfitted with the facilities and services, such as shops, cafes, duty-free outlets, and free WIFI, to cater to the passengers' needs. Furthermore, the airport has made it easy for travellers to reach the city centre with the availability of public buses, taxis and a train connection.

Tbilisi International Airport is a primary hub for Georgian Airways, the national flag carrier of Georgia. It also serves numerous European, Middle Eastern, and Asian airlines. It's not only an air transport hub but also a reflection of Georgia's growing tourism sector and vital role in the Silk Road strategy.
