The idea of this is good. There is just a long waitlist. It would also be better if they had the boarding information inside the suite.

Was delayed but they allowed me to reschedule. Shower was the best thing especially if you are flying on the ultra long flight. Walk was a bit far though

Phone number is not working, extremely bad service with priority pass. Front desk staff is really unhelpful.

No phone number to verify availability. All the way at the end of the terminal. Don’t waste your time.

Online booking doesn’t honor priority pass. Others in line have “selected” other types of payment, skip the line, and then just use priority pass. Need to fix the booking system.

If you are able to get a room, this is a great spot to get a quick nap during longer layovers. We were told there is a use duration cap of 1 hour (applies to Priority Pass members, if you book it outside of PP then you can book for longer), which worked out well for us. The room had a couch, with a trundle, and a small Tv/desktop monitor. Room itself is pretty compact, but there were nature sounds playing which were soothing and drowsy! We did not prebook, but during busier times it could be hard to get a room since there are only 6* rooms of those some with showers. Edit: updated info based on MinuteSuit’s reply!

TLDR; If you want to be sure that the room you reserved, paid for, and confirmed several times is held for you do not use Minute Suites. I had an overnight reservation for a long layover at JFK. My flight was delayed and then took longer than estimated due to it being a fairly long cross-country flight so our landing time ended up being later than our reservation started. Luckily I had wifi on the flight so when I recieved an email asking to confirm my reservation I was able to respond and explain the situation. When I finally landed at the airport the employee working the desk, who was incredibly rude and condescending the entire interaction, told us that they had given away our room. She claimed that she had called twice and emailed once without reply, however, we were of course on a flight and didn't have cell signal, and as I said before I did reply to the email she just didn't read it. This left us with no accommodations at 1am. On top of all that they also told us they could only do a 30% refund for a room they gave away while completely ignoring our communications. Overall Minute Suites is at best a predatory and horribly run business and at worst a complete and utter scam designed to double book rooms and then refuse full refunds. Needless to say I'll never attempt to use Minute Suites again.

Since my wife and I were planning a flight to Asia which included a 19 hour flight from JFK to Singapore, we knew we’d need to freshen up beforehand. So, we booked a 30-min shower room from this place. Located the the international terminal. We saw lots of people walk up to try to get a room who were turned away. Seems they book up fast, so make sure you make a reservation way in advance. Employee was friendly and made sure the room was clean. Room was nice enough with a shower that can hold two, a toilet, and a sink. They provided 2 bath towels and a few hand towels and washcloths. They also provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I’ll be honest, I didn’t care for the smell of the shampoo and the body wash wasn’t much better, so you may want to bring your own, but they’ll work in a pinch. Got a chance to brush teeth and change clothes too. All in all, it was worth the $ to feel better in preparation for a very long flight. Recommended!

To the incredible man at JFK who helped me book with minute suites on the morning of 4/28/2024 - THANK YOU!!! He was phenomenal. Very accommodating and understanding of my situation. I never leave reviews and knew I had to because he provided such a lovely experience. Will definitely be using them again!

Edit: I have changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars for the prompt and sincere response from the manager of this location. He took the feedback well and committed to addressing the things he could. Do not book here if you hope to sleep on an overnight layover. 1- advertised in many locations that Priority Pass members get a discount. If you got your PP via Capital One Venture X, this does not apply to you. A bad start while standing right next to the sign in the counter ‘welcoming’ Priority Pass members. 2- paid slightly less than a hotel room to find out that unless you pay to book the shower, you cannot use the toilet and have to go out into the airport. 3- booked from 830pm - 530 am; at 1100 pm construction work began on the facade of the area, which shares a wall with the rooms - appears more Minute Suites counter space was being added when I looked to see what on earth was being drilled and hammered in the middle of the night. No sleep or rest possible. 4- at 2 am the party in the room next door began playing loud music until 240 (the time at which this review is being written after having wasted over $200 for a quiet place to rest on an overnight layover). Don’t waste your money, you’d get the same amount of comfort and sleep in the terminal.
