We’ve been here dozens of times over the years, including the pre airport renovation older lounge that was street side, but posting first Amex review today, which unfortunately was an off day for Amex. The greeters up front were friendly and helpful as always, very inviting front desk area and people. The lounge itself was quite empty, however all of the large tables that were unoccupied, were littered with used dishes and utensils. We had to ask 2 employees who were standing around chit chatting with each other, if they could clear a table for us. Nice selection of breakfast food as usual, but the self serve area was “a bit messy.” Eggs were very good, French toast excellent, fruit was very fresh and crisp. Turkey sausage was dried out beyond edible. Service and cleanliness picked up substantially when a managerial person appeared. I am still giving the lounge 4 stars ( normally 5 stars) because of our prior experiences and it being such a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of a major metropolitan airport, but with the opening up of a Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge literally right next door, Amex needs to return to the basics that made them a number one lounge! Just hoping that the nice, hard working manager that was straightening out all the serving areas by himself when he came out front understands that his job is to ensure the place is cleaned by his staff even if he is not out front. The picture below is after the manager himself made everything look like it should. I will definitely update this on my next visit if things are back to normal again, which I expect it to be!

Food was excellent. We were there for dinner. There were 2 soup options, chicken, rice, cookies, brownies, cheesecake, salad bar, bread, etc. the self service drink stations had nitro cold brew, flavored water, espresso, water & sparking water. Bar tenders were nice and super efficient. The staff at the front, and the cleaning staff could have been nicer. The shower room was beautiful & all toiletries, towels, & a Dyson hair dryer were all provided—they do limit the time to 15 minutes! We were here for 3 hours after a delayed flight! Barely could find a seat; but I’m glad they didn’t have the lounge on a delay! Great option in LGA; and very thankful for Amex and the centurion lounges.

The food is excellent. When we arrived, there were a lot of quiet pockets of places in the lounge. But the front desk service needs attention. The front desk lady was calling the people in queue to check in as if she was calling dogs - no verbal greetings and just finger pointing. The other front desk lady was too busy making personal calls while we were standing in queue.

It was a very nice surprise to find this lounge In§LA Guardia Airport, I loved how organized it is. You can order by QR directly to the table, the entrance staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is too tier, the service is as good as expected, definitely a nice place to eat and wait while traveling

Great lounge that got updated a few years back. Lots of comfortable areas to sit and relax while waiting for flight or layover. The food was good, but I thought it could be better. I ate at 12:30, so it was lunch time and still some of the food was cold or looked like it had been sitting a while. Veggie dishes were awesome, meat dishes very disappointing. Bathrooms were amazing.
