Flying Blue Launches Monthly 'Subscribe to Miles' Plan to Earn Miles Faster

Flying Blue is launching four different monthly plans under the Subscribe To Miles program, which can be canceled anytime. The most affordable Starter plan gives you 2,000 extra Miles per month for €28. The most expensive Complete plan provides 17,000 Miles per month for €187. In between, there are the Smart and Advanced plans.

In addition to the monthly Flying Blue Miles you receive, the website mentions "Exclusive savings promotions." The specifics of these promotions are still unclear.

Another added benefit is that the expiration date of all earned Flying Blue Miles in your account is extended by two years each month. This is particularly useful if you don't have any qualifying activity, such as an eligible flight or a payment with an American Express Flying Blue credit card, planned in the next 24 months.

Subscribing and Terms

The Flying Blue Miles subscription can be canceled anytime through your account. Unfortunately, it is (currently) not possible to upgrade or downgrade your subscription to a different plan.

The monthly subscription fees can be paid with a VISA, Mastercard, or American Express credit card. Payment via iDEAL or direct debit (via bank) is not possible.

1. Go to the Flying Blue website (flyingblue.com)
2. Click on login and sign in with your account
3. Click on "Manage My Miles" at the top of the menu
4. Click on the "Subscribe to Miles" card
