The place is beautiful and quiet and the service is excellent I thank the employee Mohamed for his courteous treatment and warm reception.
Enjoy to the very bustle-y American Express lounge. I enjoy the atmosphere and the openness of the design better. There’s just not that much space but I think that’s the case for all of JFK. Service was great. The staff were friendly and walked around often enough to pick up after people in a timely manner and they were very helpful. If you ordered food and drinks off of their menu came out pretty fast. The self serve food was really good and I like that they are portioned in a way that you don’t waste as much food as I have seen in other lounges. I would just ask for a little more variety. Otherwise, the Wi-Fi was great the ability to charge my electronics and focus on doing work or watching movies and shows on my devices felt very good comfortable.
Poor on hospitality the staff needs to focus on their level of service and hospitality standards. As a customer I would not like to travel Etihad business class if such a low level has been attained here. My all previous travel experiences have been great with an exception to this time.
Multi-floor lounge capable of accommodating 100s of travellers. Impressive interiors and ambience. Food and drink options are delicious. This is the best lounge I've been to.
The Etihad Air line is the best airline. Very professional and quick friendly service. Ms Suantha , Mr Minesh in JFK ( sorry if spell the name mistakenly)was helping me checkin. Highly recommend this air line always.keep it up the good service.
Had a pleasant experience here during my business class travel to Abu Dhabi. Buffet had panner makhni and chicken biryani which were great. Burger and fries with order were good as well. The ambiance is particularly good.
The Etihad Lounge at JFK offers an exceptional pre-flight experience that combines luxury, comfort, and attentive service. The moment you enter, you're greeted with a calm, refined atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing before a long flight. The lounge is beautifully designed, with elegant décor and comfortable seating, creating a serene environment that feels more like a boutique hotel than an airport lounge. One of the standout features is the dining experience. The à la carte menu offers a range of high-quality dishes, from Middle Eastern specialties to international favorites, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The selection of drinks, including premium wines and expertly crafted cocktails, complements the food perfectly. The lounge also offers great amenities, including private shower suites, which are a fantastic way to refresh before a long-haul flight. The fast Wi-Fi and well-appointed workstations are ideal for business travelers, and there's plenty of space to either work in peace or simply relax.
I booked 4 hours through the Etihad website and once I get there they told me it’s only 3 hours and just before the flight. I had work to be done and I found myself roaming around paying for a place to stay and Etihad that stole 1 hour from me. Last time with these thieves.
Honestly I am shocked about this lounge’s rating. I always have a really good experience here. The foods is tasty, staff super friendly, aťmosphere cozy and quite. The only downside is that you usually have to wait to enter. But there is no reason to give this lounge less then 4 starts. I am looking forward to coming back and hopefully people with leaving bad reviews won’t try to get in again, so I don’t have to wait next time.
I cannot rate the inside since I did not have a chance to go in. It was a Sunday around 2pm. Reception put us on the wait-list, and told us it will take about 20 minutes. It was 30+ minutes when we received the availability text. It also requires you to be back with 10 minutes to checkin with reception. The centurion lounge is next door.
The location of this lounge gives great views, but I think they are too popular for what they can support. There are so few bathrooms for the crowds that come in, staff is constantly on the move trying to manage all the customers, and the cleaning staff are doing their best but they just can’t keep up. I was really looking forward to my time here after visiting the Etihad lounge at Dulles, but between the lackluster food, limited offerings, and kids treating the entire lounge as their play area (certainly nothing the lounge can do about that) I left and went next door to the Amex lounge.
Nice lounge with chic design. Food options were good as well!
Welcoming staff, delicious breakfast options, great beverage selection, kid-friendly. I do wish they had more couches by the windows.
Thank goodness for this lounge because they offer showers and the shower facilities in the Centurion lounge next-door we’re not working. This lounge also accepts Priority Pass, but you can only use it once per year for the Chase Sapphire, lounges. I like it because it is nice and new although it is fairly small. You will most likely have to put your name on a waiting list because they only allow 125 people maximum in the lounge at any given time. The downside of this lounge is that children run and scream at will and people are on speakerphone with no regard for their surroundings. I wish the staff would enforce policies.
