Wonderful place to rest before flight. Joy and Indira are great hostess and the food is good. Thanks so much
So glad we found out about this place! We flew in the evening on Dec 16, the two women who worked there that evening were absolutely amazing.
very clean and good food. Joy and Indira were very friendly and helpful
What a friendly and loving service from Joy & Indira, visit them, you won't regret it!
Very friendly staff
The lounge is small, but it’s the only one outside the security check. Fortunately, Joy and Indira work inside, and they’re super polite, quick, and kind.
Very nice service and good food! We weren't disappointed!
Excellent service from Joy and Indira! My daughters enjoyed chatting with them during our stay.
Pre-security lounge. I have TSA PreCheck and a flight in T8. The person manning the TSA PreCheck lane didn’t let me go through security for lounges and said I could only use this one. Kitchen closes at 10:30 PM. You can scan a QR code to order sandwiches, soup, veggies and hummus, coffees, and Prosecco. There are also self serve teas, juices, fruits, chips/nuts/pretzels, beer bottles, bottled still and sparkling water. Not the best lounge experience but better than nothing. Staff is nice
I only recommend VIP ONE for its Fast Track service, which is great when TSA lines are long. However, the food and service leave much to be desired. If you’re looking for a quick way through security, it’s useful, but don’t expect much beyond that.
Fast track through security was super helpful. Staff were friendly
the VIP ONE lounge at terminal one in JFK in on landside, so no need to pass security for another terminal. they honor arrival passengers. small but quiet. snack on side not many but ok with beer, wine, and few items on side. can order from a menu. menu by scan a QR code on the table.
Good experience in the VIP One lounge in Terminal 1! I spent about 2 hours here and I have to say it wasn't very crowded which made the environment peaceful and relaxing. I really liked the QR-code ordering system: you can choose from the menu and the food is served directly to your table. Although the menu is not huge, it still offers good quality options. The lounge was quite clean, a pleasant environment. However, I noticed two small disadvantages: there are no bathrooms inside the lounge, so you have to go outside, and there are very few sockets for charging devices. Overall though, a good experience!
Incredible experience! Highly recommend it. The staff is so kind and courteous good food selection. Had a great time and great concierge
What a great lounge to visit . I flew into Terminal 8 and the closest lounge available was in Terminal 1. Took the air train and it was super easy to get there. Upon arrival the check in was simple and easy . You don’t have to go through security which is super convenient considering I have to go back through it in terminal 8. I was impressed with their food menu which was a la cart. Joy and Jordan went the extra mile by delivering tasteful bites and providing a premium experience . They were very welcoming and hospitality on point .
Great service and good food! While not very large, there has been plenty of space both times I've been there. And they can speed tour way though security. Special thanks to Joy and Indira!
This lounge lets you cut to the front of security: literally to the x-ray machines, bypassing pre-check etc entirely. Lounge staff handle your trays and boarding pass for you. The lounge itself is quite small however it has a handful of alcoholic drinks and snacks (and maybe hot food? There seemed to be a kitchen). I just used loungekey to get in, and then a different lounge past security.
You can't enter T1 with a boarding pass from another terminal but you can use this one if you have Priority Pass. The food menu is decent for lunch/dinner. Very small lounge but it's the only one landside in JFK with priority pass. Real benefit is you can skip the security line if you are going to T1.
While I was flying from Terminal 8, there was no lounge associated with my priority pass so I went to terminal 1. I was not allowed to get through the security as my flight was not taken off from here. But I was told I could use VIP One lounge outside of the security check. Only if I knew this lounge had nothing to do as a “VIP”, I would not take this trouble traveling from T8 to T1 and waste one of my passes. The space is small and very limited. You could scan a code to order some “food”. But it had just some pancakes, yogurt, scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs was cold and salty. The latter was lack of milk foam. There was no power outlet to charge my phone. Probably the only good thing is that it provides a fast access to security check if you are flying from T1. But I would wonder if you fly from T1, why not pass the security check yourself and find a better lounge in the terminal? There are plenty of other good choices.
